Our Perfect Day with Guide Dew
We spent a lovely day with Guide Dew, visiting the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, flower markets, and Chinatown. Each location offered something unique and memorable.
Therefore, we experienced both the famous tourist sites and the authentic local culture. This balance made our Bangkok visit feel complete and well-rounded.
Experiencing All Forms of Bangkok Transport
We used all methods of transport around the city during our tour. We rode the Sky Train, took a boat up the river, enjoyed a Tuk Tuk ride, and traveled by bus.
Using different transport methods helped us see Bangkok from many angles. Moreover, it gave us a real taste of how locals move around their city every day.
Learning Bangkok’s Rich History
Dew was full of knowledge and information about the city’s past. She gave us all the historical details about the Kings and their temples. Furthermore, we ate local street food and were taken to areas of the city off the beaten tourist track.
This local knowledge made each site more meaningful. Because Dew shared these stories, we understood the cultural importance of what we were seeing.
Discovering New Foods and Flavors
We looked through the fresh fruit and vegetable markets and were introduced to fruits we had never seen or tasted before. The Chinese food markets in Chinatown were an experience for all the senses.
A bucket of Thai iced tea in a traditional local bar was really delicious! These authentic food experiences became highlights of our day.
Why We Recommend This Tour Style
We had a fabulous day and were very grateful to our excellent guide, Dew. We really recommend this way of seeing the city because it’s a much more personal way to experience Bangkok.
The tour was worth every penny. Therefore, if you want to see the real Bangkok beyond typical tourist spots, this authentic approach is perfect.
