Why Swai Deserves More Than 5 Stars
This has to be one of the easiest 5 star ratings that I’ve given. I literally can’t praise our tour guide Swai highly enough. Therefore, I wish there were more stars to give!
A Perfect Start with Personal Touch
Swai met us at our hotel that morning. First, we had a brief chat about what we’d like to do on our tour. We also discussed what we wouldn’t like to include. Additionally, we chose to travel by public transport, which was great. This became an experience in itself.
Learning Thai History and Culture
We went to the Grand Palace first. However, Swai took time to explain the site properly. Moreover, he told us about Thai history and culture in detail. He was so informative and insightful throughout the visit. Furthermore, he was a joy to be around during our exploration.
Exploring Markets and Waterways
We also saw some local markets during our tour. Next, we took a water taxi across the river. After that, we enjoyed a peaceful canal tour through the city’s waterways.
Temple Visits and City Adventures
After the canal tour, we stopped at Wat Arun temple. Then we went back over the river to visit Wat Pho. Following this, we took a walk around China town’s busy streets.
Later, we went for a wonderful Thai meal together. Swai recommended excellent dishes that we loved. Finally, we climbed the Golden Mount and wandered around for a while.
Exceptional Care Throughout the Day
Swai made us feel so welcome and comfortable in this big city. He was extremely caring during our entire tour. For example, he made sure we had enough water. Additionally, he helped us stay out of the sun where possible.
