Hello! My name is Elena and I love to travel. Please, come and be my guest, not only will I make your vacation easier, I will show you Thai culture and the Thai way of life like only a private tour guide can. I love to show how people are living in and around the serene canals and colorful streets of the city. Seeing people and places away from the beaten track is also my style and I work from my heart, making sure my guests have a great day. I am very proud to present my country and my culture to you.
I enjoy when my guests give me a new name, maybe something fun or meaningful from their own country. My English name is Elena and I got this name from my American friend who I met at church. My Mandarin name is Wu (in mandarin Wu means five or voice is like crying). And lastly, my Polish name is Paulina.
My personality is easygoing and flexible and I would love to be your private tour guide. I will take you exploring wherever you want to go, and work with you to get the most out of your day.
Before I was a tour guide I was a photographer and also wrote articles about holiday destinations. This kind of experience makes me keenly aware of what my guests may be most interested to see and do while on holiday. - Elena

I was born and spent most of my life growing up in Bangkok. Actually, my home town is just north of Bangkok, in a small town near the canal which connects to the renowned Chaopraya River. I now live in Nonthaburi and spend my time between Nonthaburi and Bangkok, working, studying and spending time with my family.
I have had the pleasure of visiting many countries around the world. Some of the the most notable countries I have visited are Poland, England, Scotland, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Macau. When I visited these places I planned my daily activities myself, getting the chance to experience so much of each place.
My professional experience is a combination of my formal education and my years of being a tour guide. I received my tour guide license from Suansunandha Rajbhat University (SSRU) and my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Art from Dhurakijpundit University (DPU). I have a very high level of English language, both spoken and written, and I speak beginner Chinese. Before I was a tour guide I was a photographer and also wrote articles about holiday destinations. This kind of experience makes me keenly aware of what my guests may be most interested to see and do while on holiday.
I still enjoy to write and take photographs. I like to work on computers. My traveling interests include visiting places outside of Thailand that have much cooler weather. I would really love to see snow someday.

We had all day meetings in Bangkok for 3 days but were traveling with our 15 year old twins afterwards in southern Thailand.
We did not want them to get stuck in the hotel while we were working, so hired YTG for two days.
They had a great time with Elena, visiting temples, malls, and touring the city. They learned a lot, enjoyed their time and came back happy and excited both days. I wish we could have spent the days with them and Elena as well, as she seemed to bring a lot of fun to every experience as well as a lots of insider knowledge.

With only 4 hours available for a quick sightseeing tour of Bangkok we decided to take a tour guide and we were very glad we did. We had the pleasure to meet guide Elena who was so lovely, she made sure we made the best of our short time available and there is no way we would’ve been able to do everything without her.

Elena was really great in making sure that we achieve the most within the amount of time we had for the day trip to Kanchanaburi – Death railway + Hellfire Passage. She even asked for our meal preferences and got us take-outs from authentic Thai restaurants to eat while we took the train!
I was coughing really badly throughout the trip and Elena noticed that and got me a local anti-cough pill that was really good and effective as well!
She also proactively helped us to arrange to send us to our next destination, which really helped us saved up some time and trouble to look for the location.
Overall I would strongly recommend YTG guide and Elena as a tour guide!
