Making the Most of Limited Time in Bangkok
With only one full day in Bangkok as part of our honeymoon, we were keen to get the most out of our limited time. We were flying off to Koh Samui next, so this was our only chance to explore this huge city.
A colleague had referred us to this company. Therefore, I checked the reviews and their website. Based on the excellent ratings, I went ahead and booked. Using their handy website, I was able to come up with a draft itinerary for the day. However, I was reassured that we could adjust it as we went along.
Excellent Pre-Tour Communication
On the day before our tour, we found a letter from our guide Keng at our hotel. He confirmed he would meet us in the hotel lobby and provided some dress advice for us. This was based on the restrictions at some of the temples we were going to visit. This was a good start.
Outstanding Guide Service and Local Experiences
On the day, we met Keng and he was excellent. He provided insight and history to the places we visited. Moreover, he made us feel comfortable in his company and gave us the opportunity to try various means of transport. We used taxis, tuk tuks and the underground train line.
We went to a great coffee shop for refreshment. On our canal boat tour, he stopped to get bread so we could feed the huge fishes. This was a real highlight. The lunch stop was great too, being a good value favorite of his.
Unforgettable Honeymoon Memory
Overall, it was a fantastic day out and one we will never forget. It was made so much more interesting because we had such an excellent guide!
