Our tour guide, Ning, reached out the day before our trip to check in and ask where we wanted to visit, which we really appreciated. She met us right at our hotel the next morning and arranged a Grab to take us to the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha to start the day.
Ning guided us around the palace grounds with ease, sharing her knowledge in a way that was both informative and engaging. From there, we hopped in a tuk tuk to Wat Pho, then enjoyed a relaxing lunch at the pier before heading out on a private longboat ride along the river.
She even brought fish food for the ride, and watching the fish scramble for it was such a fun moment. Ning also pointed out monitor lizards along the way, which added a cool surprise to the experience. We finished at Wat Arun, and Ning made sure we got back to our hotel safely via river taxi and skytrain.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable day, and we’d absolutely recommend Ning to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful guide in Bangkok.
