We decided the night before our trip that we should of booked a guide for our first day in Bangkok. Once we were confirmed we were in the air so we did not have a have the ability to communicate what we wanted to do. Jet lagged and tired we met our guide Apple in our hotel lobby bright and early. She was very kind and we sat and roughly planned out our day.
My wife and I put our trust and Apple and had her make suggestions as she is the professional, and wow what a day we had. Apple was able to show us how to use public transit, which was a huge win for us to be able to know how to use the system for our next few days in Bangkok. We visited the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, as well as a private boat ride to a small floating market (this cost extra to be private but my wife and I loved it).
At lunch we went to a restaurant near the Navy building which was great. Our tour lasted all day and we learned so much with Apple’s great knowledge. She also was able to help us move a tour we had scheduled that evening. She made us love Bangkok more than we probably would have, and we will never forgot it.
We feel for sure we lucked out, but certainly request Apple if you can!
