We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Bangkok with guide, Swai. For a first day in the city, he helped us use the public transit system, including the canal boat taxi. Our customized tour featured Golden Mount, Wat Pho, Golden Buddha (Chinatown) and lunch at a special local favorite on the river. We booked our tour before our departure and the process was smooth and easy. Swai met us promptly in our hotel lobby as planned and was eager to answer all of our many questions on Thai history and culture.
