We spent two full days in Bangkok and the surrounding area with our guide, Joke. From the moment we reached out to book a guide, the YTG team was responsive and helpful. Email replies were fast, and we confirmed our must-see landmarks months ahead of our trip. Big thanks to Chris and Natt for coordinating everything so smoothly.
After finalizing the itinerary, we paid a deposit via PayPal and settled the rest after the tour. They stayed flexible, allowing us to adjust the schedule even after booking, which was a huge plus.
On the first day, Joke took us to the Flower Market, Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Chatuchak Weekend Market, and a private river and canal tour. We wrapped up the day with dinner at Thip Samai, a famous Pad Thai spot in Bangkok—and it lived up to the hype.
Day two was packed with highlights outside the city. We visited the Train Market, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, a palm sugar plantation, an elephant park, and a tiger zoo. Joke felt more like a historian than a guide, explaining everything clearly while keeping the mood light and fun.
He also carried a tablet and took photos for us throughout the day. That let us stay in the moment instead of fiddling with our phones. Before we flew to Krabi, he emailed all the pictures—and they turned out amazing.
The experience felt smooth and unrushed. The tour included a roomy, air-conditioned minivan and a driver who kept us comfortable with cold towels and bottled water at every stop.
We never had to wait in line, which made the whole trip feel even more special. We highly recommend Your Thai Guide. If you’re exploring Bangkok, these are the people to book with. You won’t be disappointed.
