Hi, I am Apple. I'm a fun guide who will take good care of you, letting you customize the tour into anything you like: history and culture, awesome food and snacks, shopping, discovering the local way of life, entertaining shows, nature viewing, and communicating with locals.

Let me tell you more about myself:

My life in Thailand

I grew up in Bangkok with a love for studying English and learning more about the many different countries of the world. When I was old enough to expand on my childhood interests I went to Ramkhamhaeng University, earning a history degree in 2013.

My own travel experience

My studies and passion led me to travel to Japan, Korea, Singapore, Myanmar, and Cambodia. During my travels I learned to improve my ability to navigate complicated but amazing foreign cities, all the while improving my communication skills. I especially enjoy learning about local people’s lifestyles, culture and food.

I use my extensive experience in tourism, customer service, and language teaching to bring you the most informed and enjoyable tour. I have the necessary combination of skills and enthusiasm to make your tour memorable and fun. My previous work at Virgin Active Fitness Club taught me the importance of remaining in excellent physical health. I am ready to explore with you on a moderate or active level style of tour. My previous work as a language teacher and my exceptional grasp of English provides me with good communication skills that will ensure all of your needs are met. Previously, I organized an innovative and interactive Thai language learning program, instructing foreigners from the Embassy community and private sector entrepreneurs.

My personal goals & Interests

To continue improving my skills to be able to learn and have new and unique experiences every day with interesting and fun people from all over the world. I spend most of my personal time reading, cooking, and enjoying music.

My husband and I had the pleasure of Apple being our tour guide for the day. I would highly recommend Apple to be your tour guide for the day as well.

She is very knowledgeable, speaks great English and takes you to different places and gives different suggestions that you may like to visit or food to try. We tried different modes of transportation (taxi, train, ferry and tuk tuk) so we were able to have the whole Bangkok experience.

We toured the flower market, reclining Buddha compound, grand palace, a local market, temple of dawn, a Chinese temple, Portuguese church and Chinatown.

We ate lunch at a great place across the street from the grand palace, food was amazing. Apple was the best and made our time in Bangkok memorable.

We visited this beautiful city with guide Apple.

She took us around and we could see more than we planned in a first time.

She really knows the city and can show you how local people live, work and eat, just follow and trust her!

My wife, two teenage daughters and I have just returned from a full day tour which was a most enjoyable and culturally rewarding day due primarily to our guide, Apple. Apple was first class in so many areas there are probably too many to mention but I will try;

Excellent English
Great fun to spend a day with, such a friendly and caring person
Not only great knowledge of every location she took us to she has such a great passion for Thai culture that she wants those she is guiding to experience and understand it
Made using public transport fun and easy
If you want a tour of Bangkok and want to go a bit beyond normal sight seeing of great Bangkok locations like the Grand Palace, reclining Buddha etc by learning their history and what they mean to the Thai people then book a tour with Your Thai Guide and see if Apple is available to guide you for the day.

Prompt time keeping, good local and history knowledge.

Saw several temples and lengthy boat trip but was able to gain lots of tips and hints with language, food and local transport.

I had Apple as tour guide for four days (1 day in Bangkok, rest outside).

All I can say is it was one of the most memorable trips I’ve had in 20y of travel in 35+ countries.

Apple was ultra knowledgeable about each and every aspect of Thai history, sites, and of course everyday life. She was funny, open to feedback, and customized things on the fly.

Tour guide par excellence – From adhoc request to chat with a monk (she interpreted for a good 20mins) to eating 2$ street lunches to coordinating all aspects for minimum wait times.

On day 1 itself I asked to throw away what was planned and she didn’t blink – came up with a very cool set of things to do and off we went. As a single person doing this, one might think it’s expensive – all I can say is, if you can afford it, there is no better way.

Apple showed me not just what’s there but her personal favorite sites. Not just favorites – she explains why and you’ll get into the moment – from teaching me to meditate while walking in a temple to slowing down and feeling the depth of Kwae.

After facebook posts, a friend who’s been frequent visitor to Thailand for 20y and married a Thai lady said he hadn’t been to some of the places I mentioned.

If you haven’t done it yet, go YTG. And if you do, please insist on Apple.

Superb command of English, super friendly, super knowledgeable, just an awesome person.

Apple took us on our tour the first day we flew in to Bangkok.

She showed us what we asked her to see, including how to get a taxi, take the sky train and a couple of temples.

She had useful information and was very pleasant, spoke excellent English and was easy to understand.

I highly recommend getting a personal tour guide, and Apple was a great guide

We decided the night before our trip that we should of booked a guide for our first day in Bangkok. Once we were confirmed we were in the air so we did not have a have the ability to communicate what we wanted to do. Jet lagged and tired we met our guide Apple in our hotel lobby bright and early. She was very kind and we sat and roughly planned out our day.

My wife and I put our trust and Apple and had her make suggestions as she is the professional, and wow what a day we had. Apple was able to show us how to use public transit, which was a huge win for us to be able to know how to use the system for our next few days in Bangkok. We visited the Grand Palace, Wat Arun, Wat Pho, as well as a private boat ride to a small floating market (this cost extra to be private but my wife and I loved it).

At lunch we went to a restaurant near the Navy building which was great. Our tour lasted all day and we learned so much with Apple’s great knowledge. She also was able to help us move a tour we had scheduled that evening. She made us love Bangkok more than we probably would have, and we will never forgot it.

We feel for sure we lucked out, but certainly request Apple if you can!
