My colleagues and I had a very limited time in Bangkok, and it was our first time there so we decided to make the most of it by booking a private tour. Keng met us at the hotel at the agreed upon time, and took us to all the major sites.

He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of useful and insightful information, and he was also very funny! He was also accommodating and flexible, for instance, it was very hot and we also didn’t have interest in going inside Wat Arun.

Since we had additional time, he was able to incorporate a trip to the weekend market. Make sure you take advantage of his wealth of local knowledge and ask for tips and suggestions about transportation, restaurants, shopping, businesses, etc.

Great experience thank you Jean!

Even if I had visited Bangkok several times during the last 25 years, I decided to take a guide in Bangkok as my mom has never been in Bangkok before. Our desire was, to see the main sights Grand Palace and Laying Buddha, but also local market which is not too touristy.

Jean impressed with his excellent English but also with his knowledge about Thai history, culture and habits. It was worth it! Thank you Jean.

Mijn dochter en ik gingen een ganse dag op stap met Nina. Het was een heel leerrijke en aangename dag. We bezochten Grand Palace, Wat Pho en Chinatown en vaarden een uurtje op de klonghs.

I booked t guide only 1 day in advance. The guide was one time in the lobby of my hotel, and the tour starts, I have seen the floating market (we used a public private bus to go there) and also the rail market (both is outside of Bangkok) for the way back we used the train, that was another not expected great experience.

We were a family of 5, my mom, my sister and my girls, age range 23-81 yrs old.

We did private tour with Dew. He took extra care of us. She was very kind and gentle. Sensitive to my mom and all our needs.

We were only in Bangkok for two days, but we are so happy that we booked a one day tour with Keng. We had an ambitious schedule, since we wanted to see the train market, floating market as well as the temples in town.

We hired a private driver as well through YTG, and it was a well planned and executed tour. Being able to see both the outskirts and the amazing temples was well worth it. Keng was incredibly knowledgeable and fun.

He enjoyed telling us all about the history of his country, and made it a ton of fun. We actually have already talked about visiting Bangkok again, and he would definitely be a part of another visit. A+

We’d like to thank Chris and Your Thai Guide for being a patient guide. We learned a lot from her and took us to many places where we can learn Thailand’s culture.

I contacted this company when I arrived in Bangkok at about 2:30 a.m. By 7:00 a.m., I received an email that they could accommodate my request for a 2 day personal guide. I paid by PayPal, and Jean had the hotel call my room when he arrived.

Jean arrived promptly, and spoke English well. He was very open with his country, and was able to answer my 1,000 questions. He was kind, willing to do everything I wanted, and he looked out for my safety, as well.

The first day, we discussed all the options, and we visited all the major sites in Bangkok. The second day, we visited Ayutthaya, Thailand for the whole day. We took a cab (as it was cheaper than the private car that was offered by the company), and per my request, stopped at numerous ancient temples. We also walked over to where a movie was being filmed, and we fed baby elephants. Jean accompanied me into the bat caves in tiny temples, and gave me honest feedback about his country and all the sites that we visited.

Jean was also very knowledgeable about history, both of his country and of neighboring regions. He was also very tall, so I never lost him in a crowd. He was able to give me important information such as some Thai words, Thai cooking, Thai culture, and even more.

I did three days with the Guide Swai.

He was absolutely the most amazing guide I ever had. We did Ayutthaya and two days in Bangkok. Every day he was punctual , helpful, and full of knowledge about what we were visiting. He showed us everything he could in the time we had, always looking forward to please and help.

Our family wanted a day tour round the main sites in Bangkok. Keng (our guide) gave us what we wanted and more. We gave a brief outline of an itinerary which Keng perfected. He made the day exciting and enjoyable, which with teenagers can be a challenge!

They loved the wild life along the canal banks and the hundreds of cat fish that we all fed thanks to the huge loaves of bread Keng provided. He explained the history and back ground about the Royal Palace so we all came away retaining some knowledge about Thai culture.

We ate fantastic street food at locations we would never have found and tried local dishes recommended by Keng. We finished off by visiting the flower market which was a beautiful way to end a great day.

I booked a tour for Grand Palace and Temples in Bangkok with YTG. The booking process was swift.

Jean called me a day before the tour and was right on time the next morning. He was very accommodative as I took some time to make changes to my plan. On the boat trips, he kept explaining about some famous and some not-so-famous buildings and landmarks. He was very knowledgeable and has a deep insight into the history of Thailand.

He had a lot of exciting tales to tell. He was patient while answering my 100000+ never ending questions. Seeing my penchant for shopping, he helped me shop and negotiate the prices for souvenirs on the street markets.

On the way to Wat Arun, he was incredibly helpful and patient as I stopped on almost every second stall to buy or look at local stuff. He helped me getting my backpack (which was getting loose at the strap) fixed at a local shop and was very kind to walk back with me to get the fixed bag.

He’s very intelligent and understands the clients’ needs to rest, have water almost telepathically. He went according to my pace and I never felt rushed.

All in all, it was a fun filled day. If you’re looking to book with YTG, ask for Jean. You won’t regret it. 🙂

This was my second trip to Bangkok and I thought I would try to be more organised and try a Tour guide.

Since I already seen some tourist attractions I only had a small list of must see places. But Dew managed to fill the day up by showing me things and places I never would have thought to have asked to see.

We only had a half a day available to tour so we asked for a personalized tour through the canals to the floating market (about one hour by canal), where the locals shop and eat. We had our own long boat and our guide, Keng, was fantastic – lots of fun and spoke great English.

We really loved that he still had a wonderful sense of joy and wonder on the tour, despite having done it many times. As he said, he always experiences and sees something different on every tour and he loves the connection with the ‘old ways’ of living for his people. The canal tour is peaceful and pretty.

Take your appetite to the markets. All round, a great way to spend the time we had there.

We made a last minute reservation to take a day tour and are so glad we did.

We went to a floating market, the Royal Grand Palace, and the Wat Pho temple. Jean provided a wealth of knowledge in context which made the cultural sites so much more fascinating.

We also loved having Jean guide us through the market – we wouldn’t have known what foods to choose and at which vendor otherwise!

I asked our guide Dew to take us on a walking tour of Bangkok BUT I did not want to go where tourists usually go.

She gave me one of the best walking tours I have ever had and trust me I have taken a lot in Asia over the last five years, also Europe and USA but this was one of the best ever.

She arrived on time and actually stayed with us past the ending time.

We visited temples that were off the beaten track and so enjoyed I can only suggest if you can ask for a guide that Dew is on your list.

Chris ist eine sehr kluge, belesene und ungemein witzige Stadtführerin. Wir haben viel über die Geschichte Bangkoks und die Königsdynastien erfahren. Die Tuck Tuck Fahrten waren rasant, die Tour mit dem Long Tail Boat und das besuchte Puppenspiel können wir sehr empfehlen.

My full day excursion in Bangkok, Thailand, with Natt was arranged by one of the three friends with whom I was traveling in Southeast Asia by cruise ship and none of us was exactly sure about what we wanted to do when Natt met us at the bottom of the gangway that day… but Natt’s excellent command of English and her willingness to listen resulted in a fabulous day touring the Bangkok area.

Natt knows the where, when, and how of Bangkok and we experienced everything from the Folding Tent Market’s being interrupted by the morning train to a boat ride that had us feeding bananas to swimming monkeys and eating lunch at a restaurant on the ocean.

Natt is knowledgeable, personable, and adaptable, and her driver is extremely accommodating, all of which made for an amazingly memorable time!

I highly recommend Natt and definitely would engage her services if ever I were lucky enough to find myself in Bangkok again!

Jean was great, we requested that after we do the usual tourist stuff to take us off the beaten path.

He took us to places and neighborhoods he goes by himself, but hasn’t taken any guests with him before.

We had a great time and wish we would have scheduled tour the first day in Bangkok!
