Hello, my name is Ticha, from Your Thai Guide. I’m your tour guide for today, Nice to meet you! My hometown is Nakhon Pathom city, not far from Bangkok, and it is famous for Dvaravati culture. One of the most outstanding things from the Dvaravati period is ancient beads, which we call "Lookpat" in Thai. Because of this, my mother gave me the nickname "Lookpat". My name "Ticha" came as a shortened version of my first name “Patthicha". On the day of our tour, you may call me whichever name is easiest for you to remember. Today is your day, and this is YOUR tour.

On my tours, I like to explain small details of Thai culture to my clients so that they can notice the differences, and sometimes surprising similarities, to their own cultures and countries. I also have good knowledge of public transportation. You will never get lost if you have me.

I enjoy taking beautiful photos (such as family photos, group photos with tourist attractions) for my clients so that they can cherish and later revisit their fond memories of Thailand.

I have been a tour guide for almost one year. I chose to become a tour guide because I have a personal passion for traveling, meeting new people, and talking about different cultures.

Some people ask me what makes me different from other tour guides. I know that I am a very flexible and friendly person, which makes my clients feel relaxed & comfortable when on a tour with me. There is never any rush, as I always want my clients to have enough time to immerse themselves in the beautiful scenery of each place we visit together.

My own travel experience

I have experience traveling in Thailand, mostly in Bangkok, Samut Songkhram, Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, and Samut Prakan.

One of my favorite attractions in Thailand is Wat Phra Pathommachedi Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan, located in Nakhon Pathom Province. It is currently the largest pagoda in Thailand. Every year there is an annual festival with many shops selling things. I love to go to worship buddha images with my family, as this place is so peaceful and beautiful.

My professional experience

I have 1 year of experience working in the hotel industry as an operator at a hotel in the center of Bangkok.

For my education, I graduated from Silpakorn University in 2022, Faculty of Arts. After that, I took the guide training course and received my tour guide training certificate in 2023 from the same university, Silpakorn University.

My personal goals & Interests

My goal for now is to travel abroad (USA., England, etc.), so that I can better understand the cultures and countries of my customers.
