I asked our guide Dew to take us on a walking tour of Bangkok BUT I did not want to go where tourists usually go.
She gave me one of the best walking tours I have ever had and trust me I have taken a lot in Asia over the last five years, also Europe and USA but this was one of the best ever.
She arrived on time and actually stayed with us past the ending time.
We visited temples that were off the beaten track and so enjoyed I can only suggest if you can ask for a guide that Dew is on your list.
