Why We Chose a Private Bangkok Tour
We want to thank our guide Dew because she was amazing! My friend and I visited Thailand with just one full day in Bangkok. Therefore, we decided to book a private tour, and it was absolutely the right choice.
Communication with the tour coordinator was easy and quick before we arrived. We confirmed everything through email and even sent our own list of places to see. From that list, they created a full-day plan just for us.
Meeting Our Guide and Starting the Adventure
Dew met us at our hotel right on time. She had a private van ready to take us around the city. Moreover, she handled all the details, including drop-off back at our hotel at the end of the day.
On the way to the Train Market, we practiced some Thai words. Dew also gave us great tips about local customs and culture. This made us feel more connected to the places we visited.
Exploring Bangkok’s Famous Markets
After exploring the Train Market, we visited the Floating Market. Although it was crowded, it was definitely a highlight of our day. The busy atmosphere added to the authentic experience.
However, what made our tour special was Dew’s personal touch. Because she knew I love art, Dew added a stop at a hand-painted ceramics workshop. We got to tour the studio and watch artists paint pottery by hand. That thoughtful addition really made the day feel personal and special.
Completing Our Bangkok Experience
We had lunch at the Flower Market, which offered amazing local food. Then we ended the day at one of Bangkok’s many stunning temples. The whole experience ran from 7 a.m. to about 6 p.m.
It was a long day, but we felt like we saw multiple days’ worth of sights packed into one. Therefore, I highly recommend booking a full-day private tour with Your Thai Guide. Ask for Dew because she made our one day in Bangkok unforgettable.
