Your Thai Guide

We had organised a rush tour of only 6 hrs and had quite an extensive list of sites to visit.

Jean was early and we confirmed our day ahead plan. We utilized all forms of transport which was great,and found that we were never rushed given our time frame.

It was a great informative day taking in all of our requirements,and felt very comfortable with Jean and his knowledge.

We would highly recommend this way to see Bangkok if you do not want the hassle of finding your own way around.

The response was very quick and we booked a tour to visit the Bridge over the River Kwai, have a trip on the train and visit the Death museum. Pick up was arranged for 8.30 am and our guide was Jean who was very knowledgeable and easy to understand.

The trip was well organised and very enjoyable, the train journey was especially interesting travelling through the countryside over a lot of the original railway. It was good to be able to specify exactly what we wanted to do and not to have to visit places we were not particularly interested in.

We also had a very good driver and a comfortable air conditioned van, the trip was very good value for money. Thank you for a great day.

We organised a 1 day tour for our short stay in Bangkok and had Jean for our tour guide.

What a fabulously knowledgeable young man he was, we learnt so much about the history behind Buddha, the King and so much more. We were collected from our accommodation bang on time and were driven around in a beautifully airconditioned minivan. Water was provided for us and a much appreciated wet cloth after one of the stops. We ate authentic Thai for lunch and ordered what Jean recomended, wow! What a taste sensation.

Our day was a solid 8 hours, and we visited 4 stops all of our choosing. Make sure you have good sturdy shoes, an umbrella for shading or a big floopy hat. There was alot of walking but it is so worth it and you are not rushed at all, it’s all set at your own pace.

Jean was a super guide: relaxed, thorough, well-informed, gracious, and fun. His English was excellent and we didn’t have to “work” to understand him. Without being preachy or books, he was an excellent teacher. He gave us the perfect amount of information at each site that we visited and filled us in with further facts if we asked more questions.

We had a long day and he paced it well so that we saw everything we had wanted to see (at the time). We need lots more time to explore Bangkok.

I don’t think we truly appreciated Jean at the time but we have now had 3 more guides (in Vietnam) and they either couldn’t speak English or didn’t know their local history.
If we return to Bangkok we will call Jean again.

Our tour guide, Jean, did an excellent job on effectively organizing the day. He is very friendly, patient, calm, and knowledgeable. He provided us lots of cultural and historical texts on the attractions we visited which certainly makes the visits more memorable.

The restaurant he took us for a local lunch was great.

His recommendation of traditional Thai message place is perfect with reasonable prices and wonderful services. He is very customer-oriented. He responded to what we need and did not try to sell any thing more or take us to visit any place more.

He was not pushy at all. We highly recommend Jean!

Jean was simply perfect. We had a long list of things we wanted to do in a short period of time. This was unrealistic, and Jean prepared a plan for the two days that worked really well. This was the first sign that we had a good tour guide and that we needed someone with his expertise to help us.

Jean was polite, calm, easy to get along with, and has a great sense of humour. All of these things made him the perfect guide for us.

We wanted a guide to show us around and take the stress out of the day without feeling like we were being shuffled from one place to the next without any care for what we wanted. In this sense, Jean was excellent for us. The two days ran so smooth for us, and everything was taken care of in advance with enough flexibility for us to change the plan along the way.

We felt like we were being taken around Bangkok by a friend rather than a tour guide, and in my opinion that is what made Jean a true professional. There were so many small things he did that showed us he is not just a great guide but also a great person.

I cannot speak more highly of Jean, and strongly recommend him as a tour guide.

Nous sommes passés par voyage en liberté pour visiter Bnagkok nous avons eu deux supers guides pour visiter le WAT ARUN, WAT PHO le bouddha couché, le WAT PHRA KAEO le bouddha d’émeraude, le grand palais, ballade sur le Chao Phraya en tourist boat et les khlong en bateau longue queue, visite du quartier chinois et déjeuner dans un restaurant typique THAI-CHINOIS.

Avec un guide il n’y a pas de perte de temps, on est orienté, les billets sont pris , les explications sont donnés en français ainsi que toutes les anecdotes et réponses à, nos questions Deux jours exceptionnels un grand merci à Mme Usa qui nous a fait passer d’excellentes visites et un très bon moment, elle est super et a beaucoup d’humour.
