Our Two-Day Adventure with Nina
We spent two amazing days with Nina as our guide. The first day was in Bangkok, while the second took us to two famous markets. Each day offered different experiences, but Nina made both memorable and fun.
On our second day, we visited Damnoen Saduak and Maeklong Railway Market. However, these two places were very different from each other. Therefore, it’s worth knowing what to expect from each one.
Comparing the Two Markets We Visited
Damnoen Saduak has become a market mainly for tourists. As a result, it wasn’t too interesting for us. However, the boat ride itself was still a good experience. We enjoyed floating through the canals, even though the market felt quite commercial.
In contrast, Maeklong Railway Market was much more authentic and exciting. The market sits right on active train tracks. When trains come through, vendors quickly move their goods. Because of this unique setup, it felt more genuine and was definitely more fun to explore.
Why Nina Made Our Tours Special
Nina was an excellent guide throughout both days. She was attentive and caring, always checking that we were comfortable. Moreover, she had such a positive attitude that it made everything more enjoyable. She was also great with our kids, which made our family trip much easier.
Nina shared lots of useful information about the places we visited. Additionally, she gave us practical advice about shopping. For example, she told us where to buy certain items and where not to waste our money.
Going Beyond the Original Plan
Nina was happy to help with anything we wanted to do. This included things that weren’t part of our original tour plan. For instance, she helped us with shopping at the markets. She also stopped at a couple of places along the way where we could find specific items we were looking for.
Because Nina was so flexible, the days moved at our own pace. It felt like touring with a good friend rather than just a guide.
Our Final Recommendation
Nina really made our two days what they were – fun, interesting, and relaxed. Therefore, I highly recommend touring with Nina for anyone visiting Bangkok and the surrounding areas.
