We organised a 1 day tour for our short stay in Bangkok and had Jean for our tour guide.
What a fabulously knowledgeable young man he was, we learnt so much about the history behind Buddha, the King and so much more. We were collected from our accommodation bang on time and were driven around in a beautifully airconditioned minivan. Water was provided for us and a much appreciated wet cloth after one of the stops. We ate authentic Thai for lunch and ordered what Jean recomended, wow! What a taste sensation.
Our day was a solid 8 hours, and we visited 4 stops all of our choosing. Make sure you have good sturdy shoes, an umbrella for shading or a big floopy hat. There was alot of walking but it is so worth it and you are not rushed at all, it’s all set at your own pace.
We had AJ as our guide during 4 days, doing a lot of different activities. We visited Bangkok main temples, took a boat through canals, explored Ayutthaya, and saw the floating market. Moreover, we went to the tiger zoo, elephants world, and the bridge on river kwai.

We decided to see the city from the water involving a ride in a long tail boat. First, we traveled on the river, then into the canals. We loved this part of our tour, seeing the houses and way of life of the canal side dwellers. Moreover, we ended up in a canal side market that showed us authentic local life.

Jean was a super guide: relaxed, thorough, well-informed, gracious, and fun. His English was excellent and we didn’t have to “work” to understand him. Without being preachy or books, he was an excellent teacher. He gave us the perfect amount of information at each site that we visited and filled us in with further facts if we asked more questions.
We had a long day and he paced it well so that we saw everything we had wanted to see (at the time). We need lots more time to explore Bangkok.
I don’t think we truly appreciated Jean at the time but we have now had 3 more guides (in Vietnam) and they either couldn’t speak English or didn’t know their local history.
If we return to Bangkok we will call Jean again.

Natt speaks very good English and is a very pleasant and personable person.
She has a good overall knowledge of the attractions and sites that we seen and if she didn’t know something she is always willing to make something up for you if want.
She can be quite funny.

They were on time for all appointments. The vehicle used was an excellent quality van. The driver was very safe and cautious. At no time did we feel uncomfortable.

It was the second time we visit Bangkok. We had already been in the wonderful area of royal palace and temples. We contacted Miss Natt in order to look a different Bangkok. Miss Natt is a really pleasant and lovely person; she is the right guide to visit Bangkok and to answer to all the tourist requests.
She is witty and fun and very skillful guide. We spend a perfect day with her visiting an unusual floating market particular temples and old Bangkok neighborhoods, eating in wonderful old style Thai restaurant. It’s funny to see her negotiating with tuk tuk and taxi driver!
